Health & Safety Procedures

Modified on Wed, 22 Oct at 8:54 AM

Whether you're here for a day or every day, we want you to feel safe and know what to do if things don’t go to plan.

What to Do in a Fire Alarm

  • If you hear the alarm, leave the building immediately via the nearest exit

  • Don’t use the lifts

  • Follow the green signs to the fire exit, ask us if you’re not sure where yours is

  • Meet at the fire assembly point. There are signs around the site which show where this is, and you can also find it on your building's Site Guide

  • Please don’t re-enter the building until a Runway East team member or the fire brigade says it’s safe

  • You can view your site specific evacuation plans on the Member Portal

  • You should carry out your own fire risk assessment within your own offices

We carry out a weekly fire alarm check at each building - the day and time can be found in your building's Site Guide.

Need Help Evacuating?

If anyone in your team may struggle to evacuate the building (e.g. due to mobility issues, sight/hearing impairments, or injury), you need to have a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP) in place for them.
