Office Standards Guide

We love it when our members make their office space their own. To keep everyone safe on site, there are a few rules to be mindful of when customising your office.



To meet fire regulations:

  • Corridors and walkways: minimum 1200mm wide
  • From desk to wall behind: minimum 1000mm
  • Back-to-back desks: 1600mm minimum distance
  • Clearance between meeting room table and wall: 900mm minimum

What can you customise within your office?

As a general rule, please follow the guidance below. If you aren't sure, contact you community team by submitting a ticket or emailing support@runwayea.st.


Runway East needs to complete - book it in by submitting a ticket or emailing support@runwayea.st:

  • Desk and layout changes
  • Anything that requires drilling or alteration of the building fabric (e.g. TV installation, painting of walls)
  • Any changes to mechanical or electrical items (e.g. moving plug sockets)


As a member you can:

  • Build your own furniture
